We at cabin service are here to assist you in your accommodation at Idre Fjäll. Below, we have compiled the most common questions about troubleshooting in our cabins. Exterior

Charging an Electric Car

Please note that charging an electric car must only be done at designated charging stations. If your accommodation does not have its own charging station, we recommend using the public charging stations located around the mountain, which are marked on the area map. It is not allowed to charge electric cars in the engine heater outlets, and it is strictly forbidden to charge via wall outlets inside the accommodation. Any violations will be documented and charged a fee of 2,000 SEK per violation.

Snow Shoveling

As a guest, you are responsible for snow shoveling outside your accommodation during your stay.

Difficulty Closing/Locking the Door

If you experience difficulties closing or locking the door, this may be due to ice and snow buildup between the threshold and the exterior door. Please ensure to keep the area outside the door clear during snowfall to avoid problems.

Entrance

Power Monitor Flashing Red

If the power monitor in the entrance is flashing red, it does not indicate any issues in the cabin. It is normal for it to flash red as part of its design.

No Water in the Accommodation

In accommodations 300 - 406, there is a box for electric water shut-off in the entrance. Look for this box and its on/off markings to address any issues with water supply.

Living Room

Underfloor Heating Too Cold/Hot

When adjusting the thermostat settings for underfloor heating, it may take up to 48 hours before the full effect is felt. Be careful not to turn the thermostat too high or too low, and make sure to give it some time to adjust.

No Channels on the TV

If you are not receiving any channels on the TV, please perform a channel search. Note that some TVs require a specific code to initiate a search, and this code is usually 0253.

Fireplace Ignition

If you are having difficulty igniting the fireplace, check that the damper is open. Also, try opening a window to provide the fire with more oxygen. Weather conditions can affect combustion, so try lighting a piece of paper to ensure good airflow and avoid indoor smoke.

Kitchen

Dishwasher Not Working

If the dishwasher is not working, first check that the water supply is turned on. If the problem persists, please contact cabin service for further assistance.

Stove Not Working

If the stove is not working, please check if the child lock on the stove is activated.

Refrigerator Not Cold Enough

If the refrigerator is not cold enough, this may be due to the accommodation being cleaned during the day or being filled with many items that were not already chilled. Give it a few hours to stabilize the temperature. Also, consider spreading out the items in the fridge to improve air circulation and thus lower the temperature more quickly.

Bathroom

Drying Cabinet Issue

If the drying cabinet is blinking and not starting, the overheat protection may need to be reset. Follow the instructions below for assistance. Avoid overloading the drying cabinet to ensure good circulation.

Sauna Not Starting

If the sauna does not start, follow the instructions below for assistance. If the problem persists, please contact cabin service for assistance.

Broken Lights or Missing Utensils

For a quicker resolution to minor issues like broken light bulbs or missing utensils, visit the cabin service pickup point yourself. You can find the cabin service location on the area map.
