Mountain Safari

This tour is suitable for those of you who want a scenic snowmobile ride, it starts on our private trail, and continues on the public trail that leads up to the top of Himmelfjäll where we will enjoy fantastic mountain views. 

Day: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday

Our popular scooter tour, suitable for the whole family. The tour goes around Idre Fjäll, where we combine driving through mountain birch forest and in winidng valleys, with fantastic mountain views. Free riding for those who wish, under controlled conditions. After half the time we stop for coffee/sausage grilling at our cozy wind shield. Bring your own coffee/lunch. The guide makes a fire. If we are lucky, we will see both rendeer, moose and forest birds.

Explore Safari

This is the tour for those of you who want to go on a slightly longer tour at a slightly faster pace. The goal is to experience everything from mighty calf mountains to cozy fairy forests along the mountain sides. We recommend this tour for those of you who have ridden snowmobiles before or have a general motoring interest. Feel free to bring your own packed lunch, we offer coffee.

Nordic Safari

This is the perfect combo tour for those of you who want to try driving a snowmobile with lovely forest driving, free skiing and finish with a traditional Swedish coffee in the open air. We make our way out through the beautiful mountain forest and into our private freeride area, where you can try driving "off piste" under controlled conditions. Before we head back, we stop at our cozy mountain cabin, where we are offered "Swedish fika".

Mini Snowmobile

Take a break from skiing - stop by and ride mini snowmobiles with the kids! We guarantee a fun experience. Challenge yourself, your friend, or siblings to a snowmobile race. On Idre Fjäll's fun track, you can feel like a real pro with the easy-to-ride Yamaha SnoScoot, a true mini snowmobile. The ride time is 8 minutes, and no advance booking is required. Wear ski clothes and helmet.

Day: Varying opening hours. Peak season: Tuesdays and Thursdays. Christmas and New Year depending on snow conditions.
Time: 13.00-15.30
Price: 200 SEK per person (credit card or Swish)

Sled Ride

Park the skis for a while and join a cozy sled ride around Idre Fjäll. Look for Aske and enjoy the beautiful winter scenery. The guide drives the snow mobile and you ride in our wind-protected sled, sitting comfortably on reindeer traps. Duration: approx. 15 minutes.

Day: Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
Time: 13.00 and then every 15 mins until 15.45.

Snowmobile Tour with Ice Fishing

We'll make our way to the ice fishing spots on snowmobiles, enjoying a delightful ride through our winter landscape. Upon arrival, you'll be provided with fishing equipment, and our guide will assist and provide instructions on how to begin your ice fishing adventure. Coffee and one (1) fish per person is included. 

Week: 4-16 (provided the ice is intact)
Day: Wednesdays and Fridays
Start time: 10.00 and 13:00.

Good to know

Important Information

  • You must be at least 16 years old and hold a valid snowmobile driving license or regular driver's license (AM or B) to drive. Please bring your license with you (without it you will not be able to drive and you will not get a refund). Others can join as passengers.
  • All tours start with a safety briefing and an introduction to snowmobiles, including a basic overview of snowmobile operation.
  • We use new, easy-to-handle, and sporty Yamaha Transporter models. Helmets, fuel, and machine insurance are included in the rental unless otherwise stated. Please bring your own ski helmet for children up to 7 years old.
  • Any deductible costs are the responsibility of the renter. Personal injuries are covered by the renter's own insurance, and it is your responsibility to verify this with your insurance provider.
  • Wear warm shoes, clothing, and gloves. Please arrive five minutes before the agreed time. Be on time, no refunds will be made if you are late and therefore miss the activity. 
  • Note that the route may be adjusted based on weather and snow conditions.
