October 17

Cross-country skiing 2025

We kick off the cross-country season already in October, thanks to our saved snow. The trails open early, letting you take your first ski tour long before winter has truly settled in. Our tracks wind through the mountain forest, offering sparkling views, crisp mountain air, and that special feeling that winter has finally arrived.

Autumn break

Experience the magic of the autumn break at Idre Fjäll – days filled with adventure, fresh mountain air and time together. Highlights include the autumn market at Torget, exciting activities and even cross-country skiing during the break. There’s also plenty of fun for kids at the activity centre, such as a Halloween disco with Aske and creative crafts.

On Saturday of week 44 it’s time for Idre Fjäll’s annual autumn market at Torget! Enjoy a fun-filled autumn day with pumpkin carving, games and mischief with Aske, and many more exciting activities.

November 15-16

Sverigepremiären i skidskytte

The Swedish biathlon season premiere takes place at Idre Fjäll on November 15–16, 2025 – an event you don’t want to miss! The Season Premiere delivers fast-paced duels with both Swedish and international stars at the start line. It’s the first chance of the season to test their strength! SVT will broadcast live, so you can follow the excitement no matter where you are.

Christmas at Idre Fjäll

Christmas at Idre Fjäll means snow-filled joy and skiing in a magical mountain setting. Here you can ski together, meet Santa, enjoy a traditional Christmas buffet and warm up by crackling fires. Festive activities await the children, along with memorable experiences for the whole family.

Christmas market

On December 23, Torget comes alive with a classic Christmas market full of festive spirit. Here you can pick up those last gifts or find the perfect Christmas tree, while the scent of mulled wine and seasonal treats fills the air. For the children, there’s extra joy, and perhaps even a special visit to the market.

New Year's

At Idre Fjäll, New Year’s is celebrated with skiing in a magical winter setting and an atmosphere that fills the entire mountain. New Year’s Eve brings the traditional torchlight slalom in Västbacken, where both participants and spectators share an unforgettable experience under the starry sky. The restaurants serve festive menus, and at Värdshuset the evening continues with a New Year’s party and nightclub that dances us straight into 2026.

Aske’s ski weeks

During Aske’s ski weeks, Idre Fjäll is filled with play, learning and plenty of snow-filled fun. Children get to discover skiing together with Aske and his friends, with exciting activities both on and off the slopes. These weeks are all about adventure, laughter and building new skills on skis – all in a safe and inspiring mountain environment.
