The winter season 2024/2025 starts on December 21, 2024, and ends on April 27, 2025.
The snow guarantee at Idre Fjäll means that we ensure there is snow on the slopes and that at least 10 runs and 2.5 km of well-prepared cross-country trails are open – otherwise, you can cancel (at the earliest) three days before arrival and get a refund. The snow guarantee is valid between December 21, 2024, and April 27, 2025.
The terms of the cancellation protection vary depending on the season. For accurate information, we recommend reading our booking terms.

The pre-season is the period before the winter season begins. During this time, we offer exclusive pre-season training for clubs that want to train in biathlon, cross-country, alpine skiing, moguls, and ski cross at Idre Fjäll Race Arena. We also offer well-prepared cross-country trails for the public. Our pre-season on stored snow begins in October each year.
Idre Fjäll is operated as a foundation, and all revenues are reinvested into the business.

We believe that we have fantastic and varied skiing here at Idre Fjäll. Since we have skiing in all directions, you can always ski on the side of the mountain where the weather and snow conditions are currently the best.
At Idre Fjäll, we have 41 ski slopes.
Prices vary throughout the season.
Here you can see the current prices for all our different passes.
We recommend buying your pass online – it's the cheapest option! Of course, you can also buy them on-site.
Absolutely, you can rent everything from skis and boots to bikes and helmets.
Most of the time, the weather is on our side, but sometimes it can get too cold or too windy, and we may need to temporarily close a lift for safety reasons. If we experience prolonged technical issues with a lift, we always follow SLAO's regulations for compensation.
We groom our cross-country trails every day. This usually happens at night because it's important for the trails to freeze without anyone skiing on them, ensuring they are as good and durable as possible. However, if it snows or is very windy, the trails can disappear shortly after the grooming machine has been there.
Yes, there is an ICA Nära Idre Fjäll on the mountain. In addition to the store's regular opening hours, you can shop 24/7 using the ICA ToGo app and a Swedish mobile BankID.

In summer and autumn, you can cycle, hike, do yoga, try rafting or the high ropes course, and play golf.
